I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1990 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photographic Illustration with a concentration in photojournalism and documentary photography.
For over 20 years I have been a freelance photographer and have been employed by many newspapers and magazines including: Modern Bride, Relix, Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, People, Fortune, Vail Daily, Rocky Mountain News, The Knot, and Southern New England Weddings. My photography has also been aired on Nightline.
I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala for two and a half years and I speak Spanish fluently. I have traveled to Amsterdam, Bali, Belize, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Guam, Haiti, Honduras, Ireland, Mexico, Saipan, and South Korea. Because of these experiences I have gained an appreciation for a variety of environments, cultures and people. My portfolio includes many beautiful images captured during these travels.
My education, extensive professional experience and world travels
have all contributed to the development of my style of photography.
I constantly strives for excellence. I am creative, artistic
and unobtrusive. My approach is always calm and friendly and I am
able to make my subjects feel comfortable in front of the camera,
which allows me to capture each great expression. I have a great
appreciation for flexibility and can adapt to any situation. My
unique style and passion for my work demonstrates my vision for capturing
the spirit and essence of each individual and setting and makes me
a very sought after CT wedding photographer.
